Whitby Christian Fellowship's Sunday School is divided into three age groups:
The Sunday School groups usually leave the main Sunday morning meeting after about 35 minutes and their lessons last between 30 and 45 minutes.
Each group uses material produced by Scripture Union which is an international mission movement that was founded over 140 years ago. They work in over 120 countries making God's good news known to children, young people and families and encouraging people of all ages to meet God daily through the Bible and prayer.
We have ten leaders who take it in turns to teach each week. Each session begins with a time of prayer and singing then the different groups split to learn from a Bible story, to play games and have discussions. The younger groups usually do a craft activity.

We're always looking to welcome new children into our Sunday School, so if you'd like your child to attend, please Contact us for more information.
If you're a regular member of Whitby Christian Fellowship and would like to be involved in teaching or helping with the Sunday School groups please see Lisa.
