House Groups

At Whitby Christian Fellowship we hold three weekly house group meetings in various locations.  Each group has a different leader but follows a similar teaching and discussion schedule so that if you miss your usual group, you can always attend a different one and not miss out!

House groups are a more informal meeting, held in homes, and there are usually between 8 and 12 members in each.  They generally consist of a time to catch up on the week's news, prayer, teaching and discussion.  The meetings are usually about 2 hours long.

Current Topic

We're going to be using Stuart Bell's book about God's scriptural names over the next few weeks.  If you're not part of a house group and would like to join one please speak to an Elder.

Why Meet as a House Group?

Meeting informally in homes gives people the chance to discuss and reflect on what is being taught in a relaxed and comfortable environment.  House group meetings enable people to get to know each other better, they provide an opportunity to encourage and support each other and share in the problems and challenges we all face in life.

If you'd like to become involved in a house group, please speak to an Elder on a Sunday morning or get in touch using the details on our Contact page.
